TEDxHoP talk : June, 2013 : After the successful launch of Kinect Sesame Street TV, my counterpart, Rob Stevens, Lead Designer at Microsoft, and I were honored to speak at TedX: Houses of Parliament in London. Our premise was that children who grow up on interactive television will expect their choices to matter in all things, and thus be more engaged in the democratic process as they come of age. I hope we are right!

PSFK London : September, 2012 : I gave this talk on Kinect Sesame Street TV at the launch of Season 2 at PSFK in London. In it, I describe Sesame Workshop's decades-long history of exploring interactive television, and how with this project, we were finally able to realize its promise and deliver it to children. Oscar was orange!
